i’m gonna talk about my two main muses because the process is so different okay? great.

i’ve had sally ( @brokenragdoll ) for almost two years now so that means i have found A LOT of aesthetic blogs that i use as resource. and i don’t know sometimes just going through those blogs and liking posts makes my muse come back to life if it’s been lacking, or gives me ideas for new headcanons that usually have me so excited that i just have to write. i also listen to a lot of music. i don’t have an official playlist for sally because i don’t have the time to put one together ( and when i do i forget ) but just listening to her songs when i’m in the bus or walking on the street gives me muse. writing for sally feels more natural now so i don’t really have to do a lot.

and for caroline hubbard, she’s a relatively new muse for me and i have yet to find an aesthetic for her that i like, but i downloaded ( don’t tell anyone because i’m not proud of it ) a really crappy version of the movie someone filmed at the theater. basically what i do is i sit down and SOB over one of the very last scenes ( and a couple from the middle ), and that usually puts me in the mood to write as much as i can. i also have a couple friends with whom i plot day and night and that helps too.
